Agrina spent her early life in Jakarta before living in various locations such as Germany, Thailand and Singapore, and speaks Bahasa Indonesia, English and German. Hong Kong has been her current base for over twelve years. She is passionate about helping her countrywomen empower themselves to make a better life and become better providers for their family. Involved with Enrich since 2007, she looks forward to continuing as a Trainer, and see migrant domestic workers become successful in managing their finances and their return home to start a new life.
Ms. Somporn Bevan (Ping) is originally from Bangkok, Thailand. Over the past 28 years, she has experienced a variety of diverse countries and cultures on three continents having lived and worked for blue chip multinational corporations in the fields of shipping, aviation and education. Ping graduated from Thammasat University in Bangkok, receiving her Bachelor Degree (Hons) from the late King of Thailand, in 1991. She then had pursued her Information and Technology study in Colchester Institute,UK, awarded Advanced IT Practitioner Diploma with distinction. Ping is a qualified teacher, meeting all UK teaching standards and held a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from University of Sunderland, UK. At the moment, she is pursuing her Master Degree in Teaching Mathematics in an International Context in the University of Hong Kong. Ping has been appointed on July 2017 to be a non-official member of the Committee on the Promotion of Racial Harmony by Home Affairs Department, the Government of Hong Kong. She is also a member of Notaries Public Disciplinary Tribunal Panel of Hong Kong Judiciary.
Pritya was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Business Administration. After brief stint as a scientist, she has been working in banking for 11 years, including 6 years in Hong Kong. She was drawn to get involved with Enrich after hearing the struggles faced by migrant workers in Hong Kong. “Working with Enrich really made me realize that we can make an impact by working with and supporting people near us. Many of the migrant women workers are very young and they can write a better future if given the direction, encouragement, and opportunity to learn and improve themselves,” said Pritya.
Raul Benjamin has worked in the field of Finance, Administration, Operations, Training, Language Interpretation, Sales and Marketing in various multinational companies, government and church- based organisations in Hong Kong and the Philippines. He holds a Masters degree in Business Management and is fluent in English, Tagalog and Cebuano. He is an entrepreneur, published author, bird watcher and photographer. Raul has been facilitating Enrich’s financial literacy and business development trainings since Enrich was founded in 2007.
A banking professional with almost 10 years work experience in Customer Service, Marketing and Training in one of the leading banks in the Philippines, Rose came to Hong Kong with her husband and have been living here for almost 5 years. Rose is the daughter of a former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW). Being such inspired her to be a part of Enrich and share her family’s struggles and lessons with many migrant workers.
Susan has been a trainer with Enrich since May 2017. Her goal is to be an agent of change in the lives of migrant domestic workers by empowering them to be financially literate and so help them achieve their life goals. Prior to joining Enrich Susan worked as a university research assistant, a flight attendant and an inflight service trainer, and she currently works as an educational assistant at an international kindergarten. She is keen to use her experience in the service industry, research and education to benefit Enrich. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany.
Dian grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master's degree in Business Management. She worked in the banking industry for 6 years, then explored another field, working for NGOs that deliver community empowerment programmes and support Japanese language education in high schools. Given her passion for teaching and knowledge sharing, and seeing the hard work of migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong, Dian was moved to join Enrich as a Trainer. She would like to use her time in Hong Kong to be part of the efforts of educating migrant workers about financial literacy and supporting them to achieve any future plans they have.
Surj Bahra is an internationally certified coach and image consultant who is passionate about empowering women through personal development. With a deep understanding of leadership and mindfulness, she has over 20 years experience working with corporates in London and Hong Kong.
She believes there is a powerful connection between life success and energy management. Using a wholistic mind, body, and soul approach in her coaching and training programmes, she endeavours to bring out the best in each of her participants.
Paola has lived and worked in several European countries before moving to Asia. She first moved to Shanghai and later to Hong Kong, which has been home for her family for the last 12 years. Beside her professional career in multinational companies and later in public administration, Paola has always been passionately dedicated to several NGO projects, chief among them the Italian charity Missione Possibile and its two schools in Cambodia. Paola strongly believes that education is the main key to positively changing people’s lives: for this reason, she has enthusiastically joined our team, willing to see migrant workers achieving their goals. Holding a degree in Languages with specialization in Sociology, she speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and basic Mandarin.
Jonathan Wong has extensive international business experience in fast-paced industries, including over 20 years in multinational media companies, from operations to finance to business development and PR & Marketing. Jonathan is currently Project Director at The Centre of Entrepreneurship at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Visiting Lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He conducts management training programs for various corporations and institutions, and also spends time as a mentor and business consultant for social enterprises and startup businesses on numerous platforms and programs.
Manu is from India and had been living in HK for 10 years. She believes in the philosophy that all life is sacred! A compassionate human, an empath at heart, she extensively promotes the importance of a puprose driven, mindfully conscious life in joy and bliss.
Her qualifications include a Diploma in Executive Coaching from HKU (SPACE). She is a graduate in Psychology and a post graduate in Social Work (MSW) from Delhi University, India. Manu has worked in the field of HR and customer care for over 20 years. She's a mother to two kids and her spouse supports her through all her endeavours. Being at Enrich enables her to do what she's best at- reaching out and helping individuals to co-create their reality.
Sheetal is a financial planner, and is passionate about helping people with financial and retirement planning, and supporting women to up-skill their financial literacy and money management capabilities. She joined Enrich as a trainer in 2019.
Born and raised in India, Sheetal then lived in Singapore for several years before moving to Hong Kong in 2019. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Bangalore University and an MBA from Mumbai University. She spent the early part of her career in the financial services industry.
In her free time, she can be found volunteering for causes that are close to her heart, discovering the many beautiful hiking trails in Hong Kong or exploring new restaurants and cuisines with her husband.
Apriana is originally from Central Java, Indonesia. She has been working in Hong Kong since 2004. Prior to that, Apriana worked with children, youth and women group in various congregations in Germany. Currently working in the business and finance sector, Apriana has ample previous experience working with empowerment and enrichment programmes for migrant domestic workers.
Born and raised in Indonesia, Anastasia has had a 15-year long career working in the Information Technology and Education sectors in Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, and the UK, before moving to Hong Kong. As a strong believer in the importance of good quality, relevant education for all, Anastasia was drawn to Enrich because of its commitment to educate and empower migrant workers who continuously strive to secure a better life. When she has time on her hands, Anastasia also volunteers for other organisations serving those who are disadvantaged and marginalised.
Cecile holds multiple degrees in Political Science, International Marketing and International Business Law. Having lived in the Philippines, Germany, Canada and Macau, she has had direct relations with and has worked closely with migrant domestic workers. She also has experience working in the financial industry and with NGOs. She has been living in Hong Kong for the past four years, and upon seeing the plight of migrant women in Hong Kong, she is happy to join Enrich to help empower them.
Empowering people through education enhances their capabilities while fostering sustainable skill sets that can have a lifetime impact. Having a deep understanding and appreciation of this, a combination of a strong background in migration issues and professional expertise have driven Christy’s passion to work with domestic workers from Indonesia and the Philippines. Her passion is focused on advocating for greater access, better quality, and diversification of instruction, in order for people to reach their full potential. Christy has recently founded her own organization, Next Chapters, that supports educational initiatives within the non-profit community.
Des has always been passionate about working with organisations and schools that support women and children. She believes in empowering the marginalised sectors of society through education. She worked for eighteen years in their family business before she decided to focus on her teaching career. She’s a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines and holds a degree in Psychology and Masters in Applied Theology with Specialization in Formative Counseling from De La Salle University. She’s a mother of two and a wife to a husband who shares the same advocacies that she has. She’s incredibly grateful to be part of Enrich.
Felice is an on-boarding specialist at a global investment bank. She serves as a single point of contact for the Business and various teams to ensure successful client onboarding to the bank. Prior to that, she worked for a US-based business intelligence company which focused on reputational risks. During this time, she managed several due diligence and investigation projects into corruption and bribery in South East Asian jurisdictions.
As a native Bahasa speaker, she graduated from the University of Indonesia. Felice had lived in Singapore and Vancouver before settling in Hong Kong. She enjoys kite flying, reading, recreational hiking, and pottery. She has been a trainer with Enrich since February 2017 and found satisfaction teaching eager participants how to manage their financial affairs.
Eeyan joined Enrich in September of 2016 as a trainer and joined the operations team as Outreach Assistant in 2018. Previously, she was part of Plan International, a non-government organization which advances children’s rights and equality for girls. She also has worked in the operations department of China Banking Corporation. In addition, Eeyan is a part-time music teacher. She has the passion to teach and wants to have an impact on the lives of the people she meets.
Medya is avid about sharing her experience and working towards the empowerment of domestic workers. Having been involved in nearly two decades, she has established firm ties with the Indonesian Community in Hong Kong, and specifically with her role as a board member of Dompet Dhuafa, an Indonesian-based NGO. She also maintains a close tie with the Consulate with her recent role in the 2019 Indonesian Overseas Election Committee. She graduated from University of Indonesia with a degree in Accounting and had a professional career in a number of multinational enterprises, before moving to Hong Kong. Through Enrich, she aims to improve the financial literacy of the domestic workers in Hong Kong.
