Tynna has been a vital part of our organization for 12 years, having started as a volunteer and progressing to a trainer, part-time Coordinator, full-time Programme Manager, Senior Programme Manager, and, in the last 4 years, Director of Programmes.

For over a decade, she has driven the organization’s programmatic growth and innovation, programme partnerships, impact evaluation, community-building, and digital transformation. She has worked closely with various non-profit organizations, government bodies, corporations, and funding institutions, collaborating on programmes that create lasting impact not only for the migrant domestic worker community but also for their families and employers. Tynna, the daughter of migrant workers, knows first-hand the complex challenges these communities face.

As Interim Executive Director, Tynna will oversee continuity and support the Enrich team in fulfilling our mission of empowering migrant domestic workers to transform their lives and thrive while in Hong Kong, creating a successful future for themselves and their families.

Catherine joined Enrich in early 2022. In 2019 she moved from the UK, where she had built a career as a lawyer specialised in advising charities and other non-profits. It has been her career goal to provide clear and practical guidance to NGOs to ensure they operate compliantly, efficiently and ethically. Alongside that she has long had a personal interest in labour rights and is passionate that all people deserve dignified work, including the dignity of being able to financially support and empower themselves and their dependents. Since moving to Hong Kong she has served voluntarily with various NGOs that support vulnerable workers and is thankful to now join in with the impressive work that Enrich does to uplift and equip the amazing community of migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. In her free time Catherine enjoys spending time with her family and her church, and hiking and eating her way around Hong Kong. She also serves on the Board of Adoptive Families of Hong Kong. 

Born and raised in Tondo, Philippines, Shine has seen firsthand the different faces of poverty and how fighting it cannot be simply solved with money. Fueled by her passion to help uplift lives in underserved and economically disadvantaged communities, her different roles in various social enterprises in the Philippines allowed her to take part in more sustainable solutions to address the country’s social issues.

Shine joins Enrich to actively engage and involve its community members so they can become captains of their own development.

Maya is a native Indonesian speaker who has lived in Hong Kong over 20 years. Through her corporate background in sales, market research, event management, and community marketing, Maya has honed her skills in understanding people's needs and creating meaningful connections, and is now helping build the Enrich community.

Previously, Maya dedicated part time work to helping Indonesian migrant workers transition smoothly into their life in Hong Kong, by providing trainings on Hong Kong culture and necessary skills. She shared her knowledge of life in Hong Kong, nurturing the confidence and skills to succeed in their new environment – and is passionate about helping migrant workers from all countries enjoy rewarding experiences while living here.

Maya also enjoys baking and sewing, creating personalized pieces. During many weekends, she explores the natural wonders of Hong Kong through hiking.

Gwen is a Certified Public Accountant from the Philippines and came to Hong Kong initially working as a management accountant for a global garment manufacturer.  She later moved overseas where her roles included being the office manager of a small London office. Enrich is her first foray working directly for a non-profit organisation, although she also brings her experience from overseeing the accounts for church groups in the UK and Hong Kong. In her spare time she pursues her passion for food - both cooking at home and eating out with friends, where she always manages to find the tastiest items on the menu.

Fred is grateful for his engagement with Enrich whereby he can apply his experiences to serve a social good. In addition to a decade in investment banking, Fred co-founded an investment fund. He served as Co-chair - Governance Committee and Board Treasurer of NGOs, including one that provides training for immigrants and refugees. He is also experienced in developing and facilitating a wide range of custom-built education programs for adults. 

He is an alumnus of Ivey Business School and Pearson United World College. His personal interests include environmental issues (food and plastic waste), cooking, jazz, hiking and tennis.

Ira spent many years working part-time while also raising her family. When her two sons left for college, she wanted to work full-time, with a purpose to help and make a change in others. Active in her local church with her family, she has close relationships with the Indonesian domestic workers who are church members, and understands the challenges they face. When she heard about Enrich, she was excited to get involved, and she joined the Programmes Team in November 2020. As a native Bahasa Indonesia speaker, Ira is responsible for supporting the education programme, focusing on Indonesian domestic workers. Ira has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston, Texas. She enjoys the outdoors and loves Hong Kong's beautiful nature. 

Eeyan joined Enrich in September of 2016 as a trainer and joined the operations team as Outreach Assistant in 2018. Previously, she was part of Plan International, a non-government organization which advances children’s rights and equality for girls. She also has worked in the operations department of China Banking Corporation. In addition, Eeyan is a part-time music teacher. She has the passion to teach and wants to have an impact on the lives of the people she meets.

Asel joined Enrich from the corporate sector, where she worked in various roles, gaining experience in corporate finance, project management, and strategic communications, including managing internal communications for the finance department. She believes in the transformative power of financial literacy and empowerment, and is eager to leverage her expertise to contribute meaningfully to Enrich's mission.

Asel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Hong Kong. Her professional interests extend to sustainability, public policy, and human rights, and she actively seeks to expand her knowledge in these areas to drive holistic and impactful change. In her pursuit of continuous learning, she also enjoys learning new languages.

Enthusiastic about joining Enrich, Asel looks forward to working with the team to support and empower migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong.

Having lived in Hong Kong for over 15 years, Sherly returned to Enrich in November 2022 as a Senior Programme Assistant. Sherly is passionate about promoting the rights of migrant domestic helpers and helping to support them to achieve their dreams. She has previously volunteered for a number of charities that aimed to provide opportunity for disadvantaged groups in Hong Kong and Indonesia. Sherly has also trained and worked as a Montessori teaching assistant. As a native Bahasa Indonesia speaker, Sherly is a key point of contact for all migrant domestic workers' enquiries. 

For almost two decades, Iris has spent her time with a non-profit research and training institute in the Philippines. She engaged with local communities, including indigenous peoples and youth in Asia and the Pacific for social and environmental change. 

Through Enrich, Iris hopes to bring her life lessons and experiences to help empower the migrant domestic workers community in Hong Kong.

Luna Chan was formerly the Deputy CEO of the charity PathFinders, managing and overseeing overall operations, client services and programmes. She supported PathFinders since its inception in 2008 and is a key founding member. Luna obtained her Bachelor's degree in Commerce in Sydney, Australia. She began her career in as a consultant at PwC in Hong Kong working in business advisory services. She is a Certified Public Accountant. After leaving the private sector, Luna obtained a Postgraduate Certificate of Psychology from the University of Hong Kong in 2011. She is currently working on WYNG Foundation's WMA programme which was established to raise the awareness of social concerns by photography, written works and film.

Megan is the Asia Head of Technology Business Development and Innovation at Morgan Stanley. An engineer by education, Megan has worked on six continents in the areas of technology, business development, entrepreneurship, and social impact. She has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from University of Michigan, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Megan learned about Enrich from The Helper documentary, of which she was a Kickstarter backer. Inspired by the mission and impressed by the team, she joined the board to help advise on technology and strategy.

Willem has over 18 years of client coverage experience in the financial industry, advising private and commercial clients on corporate finance, merger and acquisitions, and private equity transactions. He has in-depth experience working across cultures, having lived in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. 

Shortly after arriving in Hong Kong in 2020 with his family, Willem was keen to support Enrich after learning about its inspiring mission through a fellow mentor. Willem worked on several research papers for Enrich, including Financial Digital Literacy. Since 2021, he has been part of the Enrich's Financial Mentoring Program, and in 2022, he joined as a member of the Fundraising Committee.

Carmen is a registered social worker in the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong, with extensive experience in migration, asylum seekers, refugees, and ethnic minorities in humanitarian services. She has been in the field of social services for 18 years and has dedicated more than a decade to providing social services to a diverse population, particularly vulnerable children and migrant mothers in Hong Kong. Carmen has served as a Social Counselor for refugee families at UNHCR, a Service Development Officer at Caritas, Deputy CEO at PathFinders, and a part-time lecturer at the School of Journalism and Communication at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Currently, she is the Assistant Director for Case Management at The Mother's Choice.

Pat is the founder and director of The Purpose Business, the network of sustainability experts that helps Asian businesses be a force for good. She was previously head of corporate social responsibility for AyalaLand and served as Global Head of CSR & Sustainability for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, fellow of the Asia Society and of the Royal Society of Arts, Pat works with companies on purposeful leadership, responsible businesses and overall, creating impact and value through sustainable practices.

She has an MA in Globalisation & Governance and certificates of completion for Transformational Leadership at University of Oxford and Global Leadership & Public Policy for the 21st Century at Harvard Kennedy School.

Grace has 14 years’ experience in financial services with a focus on marketing, customer experience, customer insight and proposition design across the UK, Kazakhstan and Hong Kong. Having qualified as a teacher on the Teach First Programme in the UK and worked in a challenging urban school in London, she’s passionate about the positive role that education can have in transforming lives. Grace discovered Enrich after meeting one of the programme mentors when she first moved to Hong Kong in 2017 and looking for meaningful volunteering opportunities and has served on the Fundraising Committee since its inception.  She joined the Enrich Board in 2023 and is also a Vice-Chair of the MarComms Committee of the British Chamber in Hong Kong.

Carmen Lam is a branding, marketing and customer experience management specialist who helps companies achieve superior performance and growth by leveraging their unfair advantages. She is experienced in working across cultures, aligning customer experience with brand values, driving revenues, marketing resource management, and building platforms for branding, marketing, and strategic development with a customer first focus. As a working mother of two who was expatriated several times over the course of her career, Carmen feels for the sacrifices and aspirations of migrant workers and appreciates the contribution they make for their employers and their host economies. She was keen to support Enrich after learning about its mission at an NGO event.

Dedy is a house-husband who loves cooking, writing and reading books. In Indonesia, he worked for community empowerment and humanitarian programs. Before coming to Hong Kong, he worked to provide assistance for the economic development of women's groups in several villages in South Sorong, West Papua. In Hong Kong, he volunteers for HELP For Domestic Workers. He also became a trainer at ENRICH and together with Indonesian migrant domestic workers brought back the VOM (Voice of Migrants) of Hong Kong. Together with friends from Indonesian Catholic Community in Hong Kong, Dedy is actively involved in establishing Peduli Kasih (Indonesia Care & Charity) while conducting research on: "The gaze of 'Pengajia' as a (social) movement: a study of production of surplus value, assembly and (gender) sexuation among Indonesian Migrant Workers in Hong Kong. "

Ms. Somporn Bevan (Ping) is originally from Bangkok, Thailand. Over the past 28 years, she has experienced a variety of diverse countries and cultures on three continents having lived and worked for blue chip multinational corporations in the fields of shipping, aviation and education. Ping graduated from Thammasat University in Bangkok, receiving her Bachelor Degree (Hons) from the late King of Thailand, in 1991. She then had pursued her Information and Technology study in Colchester Institute,UK, awarded Advanced IT Practitioner Diploma with distinction. Ping is a qualified teacher, meeting all UK teaching standards and held a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from University of Sunderland, UK. At the moment, she is pursuing her Master Degree in Teaching Mathematics in an International Context in the University of Hong Kong. Ping has been appointed on July 2017 to be a non-official member of the Committee on the Promotion of Racial Harmony by Home Affairs Department, the Government of Hong Kong. She is also a member of Notaries Public Disciplinary Tribunal Panel of Hong Kong Judiciary. 

Pritya was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Business Administration. After brief stint as a scientist, she has been working in banking for 11 years, including 6 years in Hong Kong. She was drawn to get involved with Enrich after hearing the struggles faced by migrant workers in Hong Kong. “Working with Enrich really made me realize that we can make an impact by working with and supporting people near us. Many of the migrant women workers are very young and they can write a better future if given the direction, encouragement, and opportunity to learn and improve themselves,” said Pritya.

Raul Benjamin has worked in the field of Finance, Administration, Operations, Training, Language Interpretation, Sales and Marketing in various multinational companies, government and church- based organisations in Hong Kong and the Philippines. He holds a Masters degree in Business Management and is fluent in English, Tagalog and Cebuano. He is an entrepreneur, published author, bird watcher and photographer. Raul has been facilitating Enrich’s financial literacy and business development trainings since Enrich was founded in 2007.

Susan has been a trainer with Enrich since May 2017. Her goal is to be an agent of change in the lives of migrant domestic workers by empowering them to be financially literate and so help them achieve their life goals. Prior to joining Enrich Susan worked as a university research assistant, a flight attendant and an inflight service trainer, and she currently works as an educational assistant at an international kindergarten. She is keen to use her experience in the service industry, research and education to benefit Enrich. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany.

Surj Bahra is an internationally certified coach and image consultant who is passionate about empowering women through personal development.  With a deep understanding of leadership and mindfulness, she has over 20 years experience working with corporates in London and Hong Kong.

She believes there is a powerful connection between life success and energy management. Using a wholistic mind, body, and soul approach in her coaching and training programmes, she endeavours to bring out the best in each of her participants.

Jonathan Wong has extensive international business experience in fast-paced industries, including over 20 years in multinational media companies, from operations to finance to business development and PR & Marketing. Jonathan is currently Project Director at The Centre of Entrepreneurship at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Visiting Lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He conducts management training programs for various corporations and institutions, and also spends time as a mentor and business consultant for social enterprises and startup businesses on numerous platforms and programs.

Born and raised in Indonesia, Anastasia has had a 15-year long career working in the Information Technology and Education sectors in Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, and the UK, before moving to Hong Kong. As a strong believer in the importance of good quality, relevant education for all, Anastasia was drawn to Enrich because of its commitment to educate and empower migrant workers who continuously strive to secure a better life. When she has time on her hands, Anastasia also volunteers for other organisations serving those who are disadvantaged and marginalised.

Des has always been passionate about working with organisations and schools that support women and children. She believes in empowering the marginalised sectors of society through education. She worked for eighteen years in their family business before she decided to focus on her teaching career. She’s a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines and holds a degree in Psychology and Masters in Applied Theology with Specialization in Formative Counseling from De La Salle University. She’s a mother of two and a wife to a husband who shares the same advocacies that she has. She’s incredibly grateful to be part of Enrich.

Medya is avid about sharing her experience and working towards the empowerment of domestic workers. Having been involved in nearly two decades, she has established firm ties with the Indonesian Community in Hong Kong, and specifically with her role as a board member of Dompet Dhuafa, an Indonesian-based NGO. She also maintains a close tie with the Consulate with her recent role in the 2019 Indonesian Overseas Election Committee. She graduated from University of Indonesia with a degree in Accounting and had a professional career in a number of multinational enterprises, before moving to Hong Kong. Through Enrich, she aims to improve the financial literacy of the domestic workers in Hong Kong.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Zoe Peña is a marketing executive and entrepreneur who has called Hong Kong home for over a decade.

Her career includes leadership roles in luxury, art, media, and fashion. From launching a documentary series for a Grammy-winning rapper to consulting in one of the first digital art collection management platforms launched in Asia, Zoe has a distinct track record of creating and building global brands through her unique perspective. She is a champion of creating more intersectional opportunities between community and commerce. Her passions in Filipino contemporary art and community are widely documented.

Zoe is also a published writer and serves as President of the American Women’s Association HK and as a board member of the AWA Foundation.

Kilian is a Client Advisor at UBS Global Wealth Management with over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry in Hong Kong. Beyond office hours he plays cello and in orchestras. He has recently founded Aura Music, a not-for-profit organisation, to promote multidisciplinary education in young people through music appreciation.

Kilian was introduced to Enrich through the OSC/UBS/CUHK NGO Leadership Programme and, inspired by their lofty mission, joined the Programmes Committee in 2020. He greatly appreciates the many contributions of domestic workers in Hong Kong over the last decades, especially the ones who helped his family while he was growing up.

Tim Wiseman is a partner at DHR Global, an international talent management consulting and recruiting firm. With more than 25 years of experience, he specialises in identifying and developing the potential of individuals, teams, and organisations. Over the course of his career, he has worked in 30 countries across six continents, consulting with people and organisations from diverse geographies and industries, including Fortune 500 companies, family-owned businesses, and non-profit organisations. While living in Hong Kong, he was humbled by the lives of the domestic worker community and is grateful to join the Enrich team. One of his favorite motivating quotes, by Maya Angelou, is: "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better."

Lucy P. Jordan holds a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from the University of Washington-Seattle (USA) with research expertise in migration studies, capacity building in non-profit sector and development.  She is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration and Associate Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Hong Kong.

Rodelia is a migrant domestic worker living in Hong Kong for 19 years. Originally from Antique, Philippines, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management.  Rodelia started serving the community at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish as a Sunday School Teacher and Help Desk committee member. For her, there is no limit in service as long as you are happy.

In 2017, she founded an online Facebook Page named Domestic Workers Corner where she and fellow group administrators help migrant domestic workers in need and refer them to Government and Non Government Organizations for assistance. 

Rodelia continues to serve the migrant domestic worker community by organizing training sessions to those caring for persons with disabilities, initiating mental health projects, promoting financial education and referring relevant individuals to legal assistance.

Lenlen is Country Programme Manager at the UN Women Philippines - We Empower Asia Programme which hopes to deliver on economic empowerment of women through enabling business / corporate environments and gender inclusive enterprises. As the former Executive Director of Enrich, Lenlen is a strong believer in the importance of investing in education and developing strategic partnerships to achieve and sustain goals with wider and deeper impact.

She is a development worker and community educator with a passion for promoting empowerment for marginalized communities, particularly women and youth. She has over 20 years of programmes and project management experience, working for and with different stakeholders. 

Upon her move back to the Philippines in 2017, she has worked with organizations and agencies as a gender specialist/consultant doing research and training on gender-based violence and women’s leadership. She also facilitates financial education sessions for different groups and vulnerable communities.

Daisy is Assistant Professor at the Department of Humanities and Creative Writing at the Hong Kong Baptist University. She first encountered Enrich through her research and teaching and soon became involved as an advisor, before joining the board of directors. She believes that education, research and advocacy can lead to change, and hopes to contribute to a more inclusive and equitable society.

Myriam has worked with women’s empowerment and microfinance NGOs in the UK, China and Hong Kong since 2001. Having seen first-hand the opportunities afforded, but also the risks and damage that come with borrowing money, Myriam appreciates the powerful potential and safety of financial literacy and personal development training.

Myriam moved to Hong Kong in 2005 after spending two years in rural China. She was deeply disturbed by how, in a city with the wealth and glitz of Hong Kong, there was little support and services available to financially vulnerable migrant domestic workers.

In 2007 Myriam co-founded Enrich with a passionate team of trainers wanting to establish an organisation to empower migrant women towards financial stability. She was a leading member of Enrich’s board of directors from 2007-2015, bringing the organisation from a voluntary group to a staff-run charity. 

Along the journey of growing and letting go of Enrich, Myriam started a regular meditation practice; it brought her beautiful and transformative benefits and she soon began sharing practices with others. She continues to include migrants in her work today, guiding heart-centered meditations and yoga nidra relaxation practices for well-being. Myriam is also a committed environmentalist, practicing and advocating for conscious consumption. Her environmental efforts include organizing beach clean ups and pre-loved sales to encourage families in Hong Kong to buy second hand. She continues to be involved with Enrich as an adviser.

Sophie holds a DECF (Chartered Accountant) and two Masters degrees in Finance. She has worked in Accounting and Training for over 20 years, for multinational corporations and NGOs, in France, Italy, USA, Hong Kong, China and Cambodia. The daughter of teachers and the granddaughter of an entrepreneur, Sophie’s vision is a world where financial hardships do not prevent children and adults from getting education, and where money is a tool to grow our most precious asset: ourselves.

In 2004, when Sophie moved to Hong Kong, she was moved by the ordeals of many migrant domestic workers who arrived in the city with huge debts, and their endeavours to make ends meet in spite of their salary. Sophie started to give a few financial education courses to Filipinos and Indonesians. She set up a+b=3 as a social enterprise specialised in financial literacy. In 2007, Sophie and Myriam worked together on how to reach more migrant domestic workers. They decided to create a new structure, with charity-status, to empower Hong Kong migrant women to be more in control of their finances. This is how Enrich was born. At the end of 2007, Sophie’s family was relocated to the US and Sophie stepped down from Enrich’s board. From 2012-2014, Sophie was re-invited to join at a critical growth phase of Enrich’s life, as finance director. Sophie continues to be involved in Enrich as a partner through a+b=3.

Aruni holds an M.A. in International Economics and an M.St. in Forced Migration. Working with an international credit rating institute based in Hong Kong first brought Aruni’s attention to the plight of migrant domestic workers. Promising herself that she would return to help when she could, Aruni moved to Nepal in 1998, where she helped to train migrant domestic workers in working together with the media, developing better negotiation skills and becoming advocates for change in their own communities. In 2005 Aruni joined Christian Aid in London as an Advocacy Officer for the tsunami programme in Indonesia, Sri Lanka and India, where she worked with migrant women who were the sole breadwinners post-disaster. Her husband’s job moved the family to Hong Kong in 2007, and thus a full decade later, Aruni found herself finally in a position to help Hong Kong’s migrant domestic workers.

Aruni helped to found Enrich in 2007, serving as one of Enrich’s Directors in Hong Kong until 2012. During this time Aruni played a key role in establishing Enrich’s programme, by helping with recruiting, and slowly expanding the organisation in a sustainable way with the limited funds available. Aruni’s crucial contributions to Enrich include coming up with innovative projects such as a street theatre, impact assessment, and workshops on building businesses back in migrant domestic workers’ home countries. Aruni also drove Enrich’s fundraising efforts, editing project reports and writing funding proposals from 2007 until 2014. Aruni now lives in Sri Lanka with her family. She continues to remain involved with Enrich as a Migration Specialist.
