During the COVID-19 pandemic, we've been asking for your support to provide vital education for migrant domestic workers who are facing financial crises at this time. We're excited to announce that you can now DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT thanks to the #BridgeTheGapHK initiative! Read on to find out how.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Hong Kong’s domestic workers have cared for us and our loved ones, for families in quarantine, for elderly and children. However, the pandemic has posed financial risks and mental health concerns for our domestic workers, who will face the effects of this for years to come. They have also not been eligible for any economic relief, such as the Hong Kong government's $10K handout.
As a non-subvented charity (receiving no government funding), Enrich relies entirely on donations from individuals and the private sector to fund our financial and empowerment education programmes for our domestic worker community, empowering them to come through this crisis with stability. We've recently been asking for your help to provide education to 300 domestic workers through our 'Hand it Forward' campaign, and now we're pleased to announce that you can have an even bigger impact!
Thanks to the wonderful #BridgeTheGapHK initiative, your donations will be matched by the Fu Tak Iam Foundation from June to November 2020! That means that by donating now, you can double your impact, enabling even more migrant domestic workers to have access to financial education at this critical time. We're so grateful to the Fu Tak Iam Foundation for this incredible support for our domestic worker community.
Here are some ways to double your impact today through #BridgeTheGapHK!
- Join our 'Hand it Forward' campaign until August 14, 2020
- Make a one-off donation
- Become a monthly donor
No matter the amount, your donation will be matched! Please also share this article on social media and amongst your friends.
A big thank you to our supporters and partners, and especially to the Fu Tak Iam Foundation, for supporting our domestic worker community.
