Before I came to Hong Kong, I helped my parents to sell vegetables in the wet market. I came to Hong Kong to help improve my family’s financial situation, make my parents proud and to pursue my dreams.

When I came to Hong Kong, I had to pay HKD$21,000, which meant for 7 months, HKD$3000 was deducted from my monthly salary. My financial condition before I knew Enrich was a mess.

I did not know how to save or manage my money. I once borrowed money because of a family emergency, and also acted as a guarantor for a friend’s loan who then disappeared. This resulted in the bank coming after me for her debt. Since joining Enrich, I can now manage my finances and prioritize my needs over my wants.

My dream is to be an entrepreneur. My finances are currently on track to fulfil this dream, thank goodness! I have also been able to open a mini market and raise cattle. My family’s reaction and feedback have all been positive and supportive, because I am now able to save money and have savings of my own.
