Suzanne
Suzanne Gendron
Executive Director

Suzanne is honoured to have joined Enrich Hong Kong in September 2025. Enrich’s vision, mission, and small team of passionately dedicated staff inspire her each day. With over 20 years of experience working in not-for-profit organisations and leading a conservation foundation for zoos and aquariums, she is highly experienced in strategic development, management, and informal education programmes. Before joining Enrich Hong Kong in 2025, Suzanne worked with Ocean Park Hong Kong and SeaWorld Indonesia, where she was heavily involved in animal care, education, and conservation.

Suzanne recently completed her Master of Education in Curriculum, Learning, and Teaching Theory. In addition to her work at Enrich, she devotes her efforts to conserving Lantau and its iconic water buffalo. She enjoys hiking, travelling, scuba diving, and reading.

Shine
Shine de Castro
Head of Development

Born and raised in Tondo, Philippines, Shine has seen firsthand the different faces of poverty and how fighting it cannot be simply solved with money. Fueled by her passion to help uplift lives in underserved and economically disadvantaged communities, her different roles in various social enterprises in the Philippines allowed her to take part in more sustainable solutions to address the country’s social issues.

Shine develops and implements innovative strategies to attract and retain donors who are passionate about social impact. She builds meaningful relationships with individual supporters, corporations, and grant-making organizations to mobilize funds essential for program growth and sustainability. 

Her goal is to create a robust funding base that ensures long-term support for the migrant domestic worker community, empowering them to lead their own development and become agents of lasting change

Katrina Eeyan M. Villamarin
Katrina Eeyan M. Villamarin
Head of Programmes and Trainer

Eeyan joined Enrich in September of 2016 as a trainer and joined the operations team as Outreach Assistant in 2018. Previously, she was part of Plan International, a non-government organization which advances children’s rights and equality for girls. She also has worked in the operations department of China Banking Corporation. In addition, Eeyan is a part-time music teacher. She has the passion to teach and wants to have an impact on the lives of the people she meets.

Gwen Mabasa
Gwen Mabasa
Finance and Admin Manager

Gwen is a Certified Public Accountant from the Philippines and came to Hong Kong initially working as a management accountant for a global garment manufacturer.  She later moved overseas where her roles included being the office manager of a small London office. Enrich is her first foray working directly for a non-profit organisation, although she also brings her experience from overseeing the accounts for church groups in the UK and Hong Kong. In her spare time she pursues her passion for food - both cooking at home and eating out with friends, where she always manages to find the tastiest items on the menu.

Maya Williams
Maya Williams
Senior Manager of Communications

Maya is a native Indonesian speaker who has lived in Hong Kong for over 20 years. Through her corporate background in sales, market research, event management, and community marketing, Maya has honed her skills in understanding people's needs and creating meaningful connections, and is now helping build the Enrich community.

Previously, Maya dedicated part time work to helping Indonesian migrant workers transition smoothly into their life in Hong Kong, by providing trainings on Hong Kong culture and necessary skills. She shared her knowledge of life in Hong Kong, nurturing the confidence and skills to succeed in their new environment – and is passionate about helping migrant workers from all countries enjoy rewarding experiences while living here.

Maya also enjoys baking and sewing, creating personalized pieces. During many weekends, she explores the natural wonders of Hong Kong through hiking.

Ira Azwar
Ira Azwar
Programmes Manager

Ira spent many years working part-time while also raising her family. When her two sons left for college, she wanted to work full-time, with a purpose to help and make a change in others. Active in her local church with her family, she has close relationships with the Indonesian domestic workers who are church members, and understands the challenges they face. When she heard about Enrich, she was excited to get involved, and she joined the Programmes Team in November 2020. As a native Bahasa Indonesia speaker, Ira is responsible for supporting the education programme, focusing on Indonesian domestic workers. Ira has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston, Texas. She enjoys the outdoors and loves Hong Kong's beautiful nature.

Wendy
Wendy Dichoso Zhuang
Programmes Officer

Wendy is a Programmes Officer at EnrichHK, where she coordinates the seamless delivery, operational logistics, and data management for our life-changing financial literacy and empowerment programmes. As a Filipino-Chinese born and raised in the Philippines before immigrating to Hong Kong in 2016, Wendy carries a deep, personal understanding of the migrant experience and the strength of community.

Having previously worked in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Wendy is deeply passionate about the intersection of business and social good, with a keen interest in ESG (Environmental and Social Governance) framework development. Her background allows her to combine marketing principles with analytical thinking to optimize programme tracking and improve participant engagement while she completes her part-time Bachelor’s in Business and Marketing. She is thrilled to apply her dual passions for data and community care to directly empower and uplift the migrant domestic worker community in Hong Kong.

Sarbjit
Sarbjit Kaur
Strategic Partnerships Officer

Sarbjit is a Strategic Partnerships Officer while concurrently completing her Bachelor’s in Business
Administration (Accountancy) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She brings a strong blend of
corporate financial knowledge and grassroots NGO experience to her new role.

As a former Partnership Development Officer at AIESEC PolyU, Sarbjit fell in love with fundraising and
stakeholder engagement, by successfully organizing major leadership events for 200+ students. Now, she
is channeling that energy into the social impact sector. At Enrich, Sarbjit will be focusing on building
strategic partnerships and securing the vital funding needed to fuel our mission. She is incredibly excited
to contribute to a cause that directly uplifts and transforms the lives of foreign domestic workers in Hong
Kong.

Outside of work, Sarbjit enjoys cycling around Sha Tin and discovering new places to eat around town.
