Intro

This workshop is FREE until 31 December 2024.

We have resumed face-to-face workshops, and also still offer online classes. Participants will have to follow our safety and hygiene measures to ensure a safe learning environment. Please note that venues may change - check our website or contact us via Whatsapp for updated information.

Please note that we require a minimum number of participants for a workshop to proceed.  Participants will be contacted via Whatsapp 2 days before their registered session and asked to confirm attendance to avoid last minute cancellations.

Hone your communication skills and build the confidence to stand up for yourself through role playing exercises. Find out how Hong Kong law protects migrant domestic workers from harassment and discrimination. This fun workshop will also help you manage peer pressure, particularly when dealing with friends and family that borrow money.

Key Takeaways

  • Build your confidence: Define what confidence is to you; outline the challenges that stop you from becoming more confident so that you can address them directly.
  • Communicate effectively: A good communicator is both a listener and a speaker. Know when to listen, when to confidently express yourself and when to negotiate for your best interests.
  • Know your rights: Know where to seek help if you face harassment or discrimination as a migrant domestic worker in Hong Kong.
